Hey family,
We have started the Sponsor a Child or Family program and so far we have had such a wonderful response! Almost every child and family is sponsored [except] two families and one adolescent in High School.
There are two situations that have risen up in two different families in the sponsorship program and they are in need. Ms. Margaret, the young lady with the 6 children. I shared her story on the channel and all 6 of her children have been sponsored with their school fees. However, there are feeding fees daily, each child has to pay. Also, they need money for their books and uniforms which are not included in the monthly donation. It's just not enough and her business is not going well so because of it she initially wasn’t going to allow the younger ones to attend school because she was embarrassed about not being able to provide them with their feeding fee. Which is a snack given by the school for each child a day. I encouraged her to have the kids go to school and the Lord would provide for their feeding fee every month.
These children already have donors for their school fees but now I am petitioning on her behalf to get a donor for their feeding fee which is 4380 GHC which is $285, US dollars for the term, which will cover all 6 kids’ feeding fees for 3 months. Then there is 4635 GHC, which is $301, US dollars, for their stationary books which is US dollars and will cover the 3-month term for all 6 children's books. As of now they are all attending school without their books. So, they need $285 for their feeding fees for three months and $301, for their books for three months, for all six children. They are all now attending school without their books.
So please, if anyone would like to sponsor just the feeding fee or the stationary fee for these children it would be such a blessing. This amount is only needed every 3 months. Or you can break down the payment to $100 every month to sponsor the books or the feeding fee.
Besides the children's school fees, she is in need of a monthly sponsor to upkeep the household and has recently been given two weeks to move out of the place where they were squatting. We were able to give her a donation to help her rent her own space but the place she wanted was taken and she found a new place but is $150 short to rent for the year so if anyone wants to help with that as well would be such a blessing!
So, again, Miss Margaret is in need of;
$285 for the children’s feeding fee, for three months
$301 for children’s stationery books for three months
$150 remaining to cover rent for one year
Lastly is Mr. Reuben, whose family is already sponsored. However, his Mother just passed two days ago, and he now has to prepare for the funeral. He is in need of an additional $200 to take care of all the financial costs because he is the only breadwinner in his family.
