A Message from Jesus to Brother Robby
Greetings family.
This morning didn’t go as I had planned. Last night, the Lord prompted me to do an impromptu night vigil late into the night, meditating the devotional, Gethsemane Hours. Mother Caroline, my wife, was not feeling too well. She had had a difficult night. I woke up just after dawn, to start my day with Adoration. “I chose to meditate upon “The anguished appeals and the mystical prayers”.
I went into the Adoration with a lot on my heart. The Rhema reading was from book, "In Sinu Jesus", dated Sept 25, 2011, on page, 190. In the second paragraph I read, and I quote:
Jesus Speaking;
"Have no fear, let all your questions cease for now, for now I will show you clearly the life to which am calling you ......It is not the life you planned for yourself, nor is it the fruit of your reflections or the realizations of your dreams. It is rather, the fruit of my tender love for you, the manifestation of my unfailing providence and the realization of my perfect will for your life"
This Rhema calmed my spirit. Later, while I was doing my morning chores, the Lord revealed to me even though Mother Caroline is not well, her heart also is troubled because seemingly deferred hopes. So, I had to cancel my normal schedule and encourage her, reminding her of the Faithfulness of God. I reminded her of the workings of the Lord in our life including our marriage which was truly the work of God. She cheered up despite her physical infirmities.
Jesus never lied to his disciples. In John 16:33, Jesus informing his disciples:
"I have told you these things, so that in me, you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
Yes, we have to learn to heart. Because, Family, trouble will always lurk around us. But let's find our peace in Jesus.
Later at 3 pm, after praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Rosary, I remained in the Lord’s presence in Dwelling prayer, listening to Julie True playlist. One of the songs had these words, the song is titled…
QUIETNESS and TRUST
"It′s not about doing
It's about resting in you God
It′s not about doing
It's about being,
In quietness and trust
That's where our strength is
It′s going lower, lower
Laying down, laying down
All my efforts, my very best efforts
Laying them down
And In quietness and trust is my strength"
The Lord was reminding me to stop striving and just rest in the in Him. Early in the morning I had a conversation with a fellow Heartdweller intercessor. We were talking, among other things, about marriage and how marriage is a “Furnace" of fire. I shared with the soul that marriage is not about the couple but about Jesus and His purposes,. We enter marriage with a wrong attitude. We have been programmed by culture especially “Hollywood", on marriage, and we have hindered the purposes of God in our lives. The soul and I even considered Abraham's marriage. The Bible does not give us many details, but surely, the childlessness must have been an issue.
Secondly, it must not have been easy for Sarah to roam around that region with her husband. Can you imagine the crisis and torture in her heart before she chose to give Hagar, her maid, to Abraham, the husband? the strife Hagar's pregnancy brought in the family? Imagine Sarah quarrelling with Abraham because of Hagar conceiving. Twice Abraham lost Sarah to gentile Kings. The emotional crisis they both suffered those times. In Ghana they would say “it was not easy, ooooo”.
Family, painfully through the years, I have learnt not to be attached to anyone or anything because of the workings of the Lord in my life. These past two decades he has given and taken at will. He is God and he does as he wishes. The Last business I ventured in was in 2016. My siblings trusted me with family money and the Lord guided me on how to invest.
Within three months into the business, one day during prayer meeting with fellow intercessors, the Lord informed me, through one of the intercessors, that He was going to do something in the business, and I should not intervene. Guys, I didn’t know what it was; if it was something good or bad. But, within 3 weeks I went into dispute with the landlord over the lease and he forcefully locked me out and the Lord told me not to seek recourse in court. That was how I lost the business. I lost face, and trust with my family. It was a good lesson in humiliation. Yes, guys, God will allow us to be humiliated. That is part of our molding. That’s part of our preparation for the purposes; that’s part of our testing, to know what is really in our hearts. In Psalms 115:3, it states;
“Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.”
Jesus do you have a word for your bride?
Jesus began,
“My brides surrender your will completely to Me. Trust in My goodness and merciful Love. Didn't I say while on earth a father cannot give his son a stone if he asks for bread and he cannot give his son a snake if he asks for fish. I created each one of you for a unique purpose. Only I know the purpose, only I know what graces I put in you and the paths you must travel. Even My ancient saints, whom you view as heroes, I made great promises to. But the path to their destinies I chose. Allow Me to lead you. Surrender to Me moment by moment by what am doing in your life. Nothing happens to you that I have not allowed. I knew the end of your life from the beginning. When I sent Moses to Pharaoh and Pharaoh's heart was hardened; who was it who caused him to have a hardened heart?”
The scriptures clearly explains in Ex 10:1 (Amplified Bible)
Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the heart of his servants [making them determined and unresponsive], so that I may exhibit My signs [of divine power] among them,.
“Joseph’s brothers planned evil against him but I allowed it so as to fulfil the destiny of Joseph to be ruler and also to fulfil prophesy that descendants of Abraham will be slaves in Egypt for 400 years.
“My brides I am the Sovereign God. Your life is in My Palm. It hurts Me to see My brides not trusting in My goodness, faithfulness, merciful Love and power. Live your lives believing in My goodness and with the Knowledge that nothing is impossible for Me. I use everything happening to you, to your loved ones, to your communities, to your nations, to fulfill My purposes and to bring glory to the Father. Surrender your will. Have no opinion. In quietness, trust, that's where your strength is”.
That was the end of Jesus’ message.
Lord Jesus us grant us the grace to abandon ourselves completely and to learn to trust in your merciful love and goodness. Amen.
