Hi Guys, it’s Rainbow sharing another Journal entry.
It was the morning of my birthday and to be honest I didn’t think really that I would want to be journaling until I heard a voice speaking to me. My spirit just kept pushing me to write this down. So here is a message from King David.
King David began
“It is good that you stopped for a bit to hear me. First of all, I wanted to say Happy Birthday. Your age is a very large milestone for you. You must be wondering, ‘Why did King David come to speak to me today?’ Well, if I can be honest with you Rainbow, there is a lack of true worship for God from his people.
“Most of the time people praise God with their lips but their hearts are far from him. Gone are the days when men sat and truly sang to God. When I was around your age and working in King Saul’s palace I found joy just sitting with my instrument and singing to the Lord. It brought me peace and it gave me the strength I needed to go on. So many do not understand the joys and power of true worship. Worship drives out the demons from your midst. It connects you to your creator and it transforms your souls.
“The majority of singers we have today focus on how good they sound, how well they can sing, the recognition they get, and the glory of themselves. Everything is set up to be perfect. But worship doesn’t have to be perfect in order to be done. It just needs to be sincere and from the heart. I am not saying don’t go above and beyond for God—but also look at whom you are really glorifying. Return back to the Father with your whole heart. Make up Songs to Him—sing of His glory, His faithfulness, anything that you feel led to sing about…. sing. I sang about any and everything. I was so in love with the Father that my heart could only sing for joy. I too like you, was not worthy. As a man, I did many evil things, and I relied too much on my own understanding at times. But I kept running back to my One True Love. I kept trying because it was Him that gave me strength, Him that gave me love. He was the reason I desired to live.
“Some are really anointed in the area of singing. Use it for the Father, not for yourselves. Draw souls in by the gifts he has given you. For those that do not have the gift of song. Be glad and sing anyway because it pleases God to hear you worship. In fact, it makes His day. Even now, as I have left the earth roughly over 2000+ years now, I still pick up my instrument and I sing.
“Take heart, dear ones, it is your heart he looks at. Worthiness comes by accepting the Lord in your hearts and serving Him with a sincere heart. Worship and give yourselves over to the Lord while there is still time.
“For now, my newfound friend, I take my departure. But we shall speak again.
Take care.
And that was the end of King David’s message.
Thank you for listening.
