Human Spirits & Witchcraft

Hello, Brothers, Sisters, and Heartdwellers family, forgive me for not getting a message out to you. When I got back, I had to officiate My brother's wedding, and it was wonderful. The wedding and preparation were a bit hectic, so I was unable to really buckle down to get a message. However, just like Jesus advised in the previous message, He wanted me to share with you guys what He has taught me through the book He Set the Captives Free concerning Human spirits and how that works. We know it as astral projecting, but it goes so much deeper than that.

First, I want to share Dr. Rebecca Brown's real-life account and experience with Elaine, a former high-ranking witch, who was a former bride of Satan, turned Christian. The Holy Spirit prompted Dr. Rebecca to have Elaine, who was a former patient, stay at her home in order for deliverance to take place. It was the first of this kind of attack. Although, for days she had dealt with many demons attacking her through Elaine during her deliverance, she had never had an experience with a human spirit.

Dr. Rebbeca begins, in

Chapter 12, The Battle

I was in the kitchen fixing dinner when Elaine came under the control of what I thought was a demon. I realized she was in the kitchen when I was stabbed in the back with a large knife I had been using to cut the meat. I grabbed her hand saying, “No, demon I bind you in the one only Name, Jesus Christ. You will give me the Knife”

I was surprised to hear a very feminine voice answer me.

“You can't order me around like some demon! I don’t have to obey you and your stupid commands because I am not a demon! Now I’m going to teach you both a lesson.”

An all-out wrestling match ensued; I received a number of rather severe cuts. Blood was all over the kitchen. As I struggled for both the knife and our lives, I kept saying, “I don’t care who or what you are, I will defeat you in the Name and power of Jesus”.

At last, I managed to wrestle the knife out of her hand. Panting and at the end of my strength, I forced her to sit in a chair. “Now, I command you in the Name of Jesus, tell me who and what you are!”

“I am Sally.”

I was surprised. I knew that Sally was a friend of Elaine’s, and the witch Elaine was tutoring. She became Elaine's successor as a high priestess. She was more arrogant than any demon I ran into and just as deadly. I could feel her hatred…

So Dr. Rebecca went on to quote scriptures to the human spirit, Sally, that was channeling through Ms. Elaine, and made her bow at the knee, as the Scripture says, “Every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess Jesus is Lord”. After that, the human spirit, Sally, threatened her once more and said she would be back and left Elaine's body. Elaine fell unconscious for a moment and came back to herself.

Then Dr. Rebecca again began a dialogue with Elaine to understand what had just happened.

As Elaine helped me clean up both myself and the kitchen, I asked her: “Elaine, did you used to do things like that, enter into another person’s body and move and talk through them I mean?

“Sure, that was simple”, she responded.

“Were you consciously aware of what you were doing, and what was said and done?”

She said, “Yes”.

“But how did you do it? I think maybe this is another doorway. How else could she have gotten in?”

“I really don’t know how I did it, I just did it. It was one of the first things I learned to do. As I grew in power, I could leave my body and go anywhere and do anything I wanted, all the while still being consciously aware of what was happening and what I was doing in my physical body too”.

Suddenly, something clicked. The Holy Spirit brought back to my memory a book I read over a year before. Excitedly, I ran to my bookshelf to get it. I told Eliane that I thought this might contain the answer to our dilemma. I talked to her about “soul power” which is really the power in the human spirit body when under the control of the soul. There are two books that deal with this subject. The Latent Power of the Soul, by Watchman Nee, and Soul and Spirit, by Jesse Penn Lewis. Over the next two days, we read the entire book.

We both began to understand just what the strange power was that Elaine used, in addition to demons, for so many years. Satan never teaches his people what they are using, just how to use the power within them. Eliane had been consciously controlling her spirit body.

As we learned about human spirits, I started getting many witches and warlocks in the area, as various ones came into Elaine with her spirit body to try to kill both of us. One of the most troublesome of them was David, the high priest of the large and powerful coven in the city where we lived. He was a physician at the hospital where I was training and told me that he had sworn to kill me at any cost. The human spirits were much more difficult to fight than the demons because they had no respect for God. I was reminded of James 2:19, “The devils also believe and tremble”, but these human spirits guys, they don’t.

So, as an aside, guys, what are human spirits? In my dream, I encountered one using the spirit body of a loved one to say mean and harsh things toward me and my beloved. This soul was acting so out of her character and the Lord revealed to me the witch that was behind it, using this soul’s spirit body to do her dirty work.

I talked to one of our intercessors. She has encountered this human spirit so many times in her husband and has been aware of it. When she started noticing he would be triggered, and become violent emotionally, sometimes physically, but the words he uttered to her always gave it away as to who was speaking through him. She knew by what demeaning and condescending words he spoke because these were the same things spoken to her by loved ones, unfortunately, who were into witchcraft. And all of a sudden, her husband changed into a totally different person and started repeating the very same negative and mean things. It is a human spirit that has entered into a doorway he has left open, and using his spirit body to cause harm to this intercessor. But so far, no weapon formed against her and her husband, and the marriage has prospered.

Now to the chapter Human Spirits so we can expound on this more.

Chapter 14

Rebecca:

Throughout this book, many references have been made to human spirits. This is a very important concept that Christians should understand. It is the power that Elaine, and many others like her, developed and used. Let us look at the scriptures that touch on this.

1 Thessalonians 5:23

"Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ

Paul teaches us here, that we humans are tripartite beings. That is, we have three separate parts—the body, the soul (which is our conscious intellect, will, and emotions,) and the spirit. He plainly states that all three must be cleansed and committed to Jesus and that Jesus himself must enable us to keep all three parts “blameless” until His return.

Genesis 2:7

Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

That is, Adam lived and became aware of himself. In essence, our “self” is our soul which manifests in our mind, our will, and our emotions.

1 Corinthians 15:44 says,

“It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.

If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body”

2 Corinthians 12:2-4

I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows. 3 And I know that this man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows4 was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell.

Revelations 4:1-2

After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” 2 At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it.

These Scriptures, along with others, show an experience perceived in the person’s spirit in which the spirit body was separated from the physical body. Notice that when John stated that he was in the “spirit” it was spelled with a small “s” signifying his own human spirit. Every time the Holy Spirit is spoken of in Scripture, it is spelled with a capital “S”, (Revelation 1:10). Another example is Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Did you ever wonder why it is necessary to make a distinction between our soul and spirit? According to Hebrews 4:12, there can be a division or separation of the soul and spirit.

The first, Adam before he fell, could relate to and see the spirit world as easily as he could the physical world. How? By the use of his spiritual body. This is demonstrated by the ease with which he walked and talked with God in the Garden of Eden. He was consciously aware of his spiritual body, the same as he was consciously aware of his physical body. His soul (his intellect, will and emotions) controlled both his spiritual and physical bodies. But, at the fall, spiritual death occurred. That is, Adam and his descendants were no longer consciously aware of their spiritual bodies, and therefore, could not commune with the Lord as he once did.

And you can see Figures B and C, the image explains how the physical and spiritual bodies can be separated.

As the Holy Spirit comes in at rebirth when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, our spiritual body is reborn, or rejuvenated so that we can communicate with the Lord as Adam did before the fall. The fact that is through the human spirit that we commune with God (with the help of the Holy Spirit) is clearly demonstrated in the following verse.

John 4:23-24

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

Please note that when God is referred to as being a “Spirit” in these two verses, the word is spelled with a capital “S”, However, the human spirit is clearly differentiated with a small “s’. Therefore, only a spirit can commune (or communicate) with the spirit working and worshiping God, the Father, who is Spirit.

Angels are also clearly defined in the Bible as being spirits: “ Who (referring to God) taketh His angel's spirits (Psalm 104:4). This verse is quoted by Paul in Hebrews 1:7. Another is Hebrews 1:14.

Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

Satan and his demons are also spirits, once angels in God’s service before they rebelled. Jesus Himself defines these creatures as angels and as a result, spirits. One Scripture that describes that is Matthew 25:41

So we see from the Scripture that there are more spirit beings in addition to God, called angels. Some work in God's service while some work in Satan’s service.

Our spiritual bodies are the link between us and the spirit world because we cannot see or measure the spiritual world with anything physical.

Through the Holy Spirit, our spirits are able to commune with and worship God, but the scripture, Hebrews 4:12 shows us that it is not God’s will for us to regain conscious control of our spirit bodies while we remain on earth in our sinful condition. That is why the sword of the Spirit severs the soul and the spirit. Once this severing takes place, the soul (mind, intellect, and will) can no longer control the spirit body. This is also why the Lord is so adamant in 1 Thessalonians 5:23, that our spirits must be under the total mastership of Jesus Christ as well as our souls and physical bodies.

As an aside family, this confirms for us also what Jesus has been teaching us. He desires that we in ourselves do not control our spirit bodies which are new age teaches, witchcraft teaches, Buddhism, and many other religions that teach consciousness and enlightenment. Teaching you to meet spirit guides in the spirit, or having your spirit leave your body to go places, outside the protection and covering of Jesus Christ. Satan is the one behind all of them and will use your spirit body to cause you and others harm. However in Christ, when you have subjected your entire self to his Lordship, Jesus will take you in the spirit. He will lead you and take you, not on your own will, to go minister to people, to pray over people, and to do ministry. Some of you are probably being used now and don’t even realize it. If you have dreams where you are in a different country doing ministry, or doing deliverance on people, or praying for someone, or preaching and you wake up feeling exhausted even these are all signs that in your sleep your spirit body was taken and used by The Holy Spirit to minister to people. There are even times when you are very conscious and awake, and still, your spirit body is used by God to go to a different place and minister. This has happened to so many saints like Padre Pio, St. Francis, Maria De Agreda and so many others who were used mightily by the Lord in this way. Jesus desires to give His bride this gift as well. You just have to have faith and trust in Jesus, and your bridge to ministry in the spirit is love. So if you desire to help someone out of pure love and allow him to use your sanctified imagination Holy Spirit will take you there, but you must wait on Him. I will share a link to the message I did about bilocation, in the comments section. So you can see, Satan mimics everything that is Holy and makes evil entanglements and weapons for his servants.

Revelation 18, verses 11 and 13 are intriguing verses referring to the fall of Babylon.

And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise and or and the sheep…and horses and chariots and bodies and souls of men”

Why the difference between the bodies and souls of men? Because there is a phenomenal amount of power and intelligence in the spirit bodies of humans, especially when those spirit bodies are under the soul's control. Satan has been working steadily through the ages since the fall of Adam to gain the use of the spiritual bodies for his evil schemes. Men’s physical bodies are weak, or of little use to Satan, but their spiritual bodies under the conscious control of their souls are very different.

Satan’s goal is to teach humans to regain conscious control of their spiritual bodies—many do. Once this is achieved, these people can perceive the spirit world as well as the physical world. They can talk with demons, leave their physical bodies with their spirit bodies, and with full consciousness, go places and do things with supernatural power. It was with their spirit bodies that the various witches and warlocks, without being physically present, would pull Elaine and me out of bed and throw us across the room. We were unable to see them because our physical eyes could not see the spirit bodies in such a manner. If we did so, not only would we be open to overwhelming temptations to sin, but we would also not need to be so dependent on God. Furthermore, we would constantly be aware of Satan and his kingdom.

There is a special class of demons who frequently refer to themselves as “power demons”. They seem to provide the “glue” to establishing the link between the soul and spirit body. This enables the person to gain conscious control of this spirit body. The imagination is keen in developing the link between the soul and spirit. That is why it is so important to bring every thought captive to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).

We can save ourselves so much time and effort in the area of deliverance by making it clear to the person requesting deliverance (who has been involved in the occult) that the power demon is the first demon we should ask the Lord to cast out. If someone is not really serious about desiring deliverance or is trying to deceive you, they will back off quickly when they find that, with the removal of this demon, they will instantly lose all their ability to use their spirit body.

I have also found that this is an area that is often overlooked in delivery, a doorway often left open. The result is much suffering as Satan and his demons continually harass the person. If the tormented person simply prays and asks the Lord to remove their ability to partake in the spirit world, (Hebrews 4:12), they will gain tremendous relief from such torment by the evil spirit world. After this, the person will perceive the spirit world only when the Lord chooses to give him or her such perception. Their spirit will be totally surrendered to Jesus Christ.

As Christians, we must be careful when we ask the Lord to take complete control of our spirits. Many Christians fall into the trap of learning to control their own spirits. I've heard people say, “I meditate until I have a spiritual experience or experience God”. Christians do have experiences in the spirit—visions and revelations—but these are always under Christ’s control, never under our own control.

If a Christian is able to control when he has spiritual experiences, then I would seriously doubt that his experiences came from God. They most likely came from Satan.

Lastly, I want to end with a video of the Zang Beto dance which is a dance started from Benin to Ivory Coast and many West African countries that follow the voodoo religion. When I first saw this, years ago, I always wondered how they did this, and I knew it was witchcraft. I thought it was a demon possessing the contraption and costume they used to perform. But upon doing this message, this kept popping up in my head that it was done with a human spirit. Someone gives their spirit up and enters into that contraption using witchcraft, using their spirit bodies, causing things to move, and even speaking through the costume. There has been one video revealed where a child was exposed that was inside. But I believe even if they use the body of a child, there are some that have nothing in them They even burn them to showcase that there is nobody inside and it's done by a human spirit through witchcraft. I went to Bible Promises to discern if I should add this video to the message and I got Joy from the Lord. So I think my discernment was right on. It's an intriguing example of how in witchcraft they can use their spirit bodies to control objects or things.

Let’s continue to keep those who practice witchcraft in prayer so they would come out of culture, pagan traditions, and satan's lies. Also, the Lord instructed us to be sure to anoint our homes with oil—all the entrances to your home, and then open the door commanding any evil spirits to get out, if you are experiencing some of these things mentioned in the teachings.
