How Do You Behave In a Storm

March 13, 2025

Hello, brothers, sisters, and YouTube family. I was lying on my bed when I heard the Lord ask,

"How do you behave in a storm? Don't worry about the storms I allow. Storms are not punishment. It's time to calm down and hear my voice. Learn from the eagle."

When he said, learn from the eagle, I called my husband, Brother Robby, and shared with him, and we decided to Google and learn how the eagle behaves in a storm.

This is what we learned from the Google article, and I quote directly:

"While other birds “run” from the weather, the eagle actively engages these stronger winds and, instead of seeking shelter, uses the turbulence to push itself higher. The storm allows the eagle to enter a space it cannot normally reach in good weather."

Within the next hour, the Lord continued the conversation.

Jesus began,

"What are storms, and especially storms in our lives? I allow storms not to make you weary, suffer, or weak but to uplift you and make you strong and focused. My bride, there are different kinds of storms, and each storm has lessons for you. How do you behave in a storm? How do you survive in your Storm? When the storms get rough, that is the season for you to harvest. You're wondering how one harvests in a storm? How do you rejoice in the midst of chaos?

"My brides during a storm don't focus on what is happening, the seeming effects of the storm. Rather ask, “What can I reap from this storm? What is there for me to harvest in the storm?” I wait for you to lean on Me when the storm becomes rough; be still and quiet in My presence. When I allow storms, it's a season you need to learn to trust Me more; it is a season to learn new forms of warfare and different skills for battle.

"When in a storm, focus, reflect, and you will learn where to hit the target for maximum results for you to be victorious, be it in prayer or supplication, praise or declarations. This is not a time for strife, murmuring, and complaining. Rather, it is a season to be still and wait upon Me, surrendering to My will. When you become still, you allow Me to speak, act, and make it easy for you.

"When you're in a battle and I allow a storm, know I am seeking your attention and expecting My bride to go deeper to learn, to heal, and to receive more strength, insight, and focus. What do you learn in storms I allow?  My brides, you learn how you approach or fight in battles and the enemy, and if there's a need to change, what needs to be done.

"Secondly, what do you heal from? From wounds incurred during other battles, because of open doors, and shortcomings that were not known or seen or left open to cause wounds. Allow My healing so that you acquire new skills and receive new anointings in prayers, praise, and revelations from Me.

"Thirdly, what do we receive during a storm? By being still in My presence, you grow your faith; you attain new dimensions, anointings, and knowledge on your new mission. My brides, when I take you into seclusion in the midst of a storm, when you come out from it, you enter new grounds of battle, a higher level with new enemies to fight. New anointing, new battles, and new enemies.

When you are in a storm, learn to surrender to Me. Do not strive, for the battle is My battle. On your own, you cannot win, for it is not a physical but a spiritual war. One thing you must be sure about is that you will come out of it a winner, victorious."

That was the end of Jesus' message.

Family, I remember. Many years back, there was a storm in my life. I became very sick, and everyone was worried. I could see it on their faces; it was written all over. I remember my mother was desperate and helpless, but I would reassure her that I would be fine. The contradiction was that I was gaining weight despite my illness. In the midst of this storm, I saw myself in a vision dressed like a soldier, and a sword was given to me and I was instructed in the vision that it was a sword for me to use in battle.

I have been in a storm of illness since mid-January, and the Lord pulled me out of active ministry. It has been frustrating, but I can now see he has been using this time not only to heal me but also to speak to me about many things, which I have shared, and others too will be posted soon.

Thank you, family.

Until next time, remain blessed in the Lord.
