Forgiveness of Sins

March 16, 2021

Hello, Family. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

AI was meditating on the Gospel of my Last Lord’s Supper from Mark 2:1-12 which talks about the healing of the paralyzed man who was lowered through the roof by his friends. As I was meditating, It hit me that only God can forgive sins, but He has given this power to ordinary men like His priests in the Sacrament of Forgiveness.

So I said: “Lord, what a grace, to forgive sins in Your Name. Please teach me this mystery.

Jesus begins:

Every priest of Mine represents Me before the Father. Through ordination, the Holy Spirit gives them this grace. It is a ratification of My authority before the Father.

Through your priesthood, you have been given extraordinary powers to act in My Name by My Spirit. Remember, it is not you who are doing it, it is Me in you who is doing it by the authority given to you during your ordination.

This is why I said that without Me you can do nothing (as it is written in John 15:5).

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing.

You ask what sin is. Sin is to be separated from Me as a result of your own choices, and only I can close that gap.

According to the Scriptures ( Mark 2: 1-12), I knew their condition and therefore I decided to close that bridge based on their faith in Me. Not only did I forgive him, but I also healed him.

I did not wait for him to come and repent of his sins; I used the power given to Me by the Father. This is the same power I gave to My priests.”

Here I am quoting John 20:22−23.

And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit; whose sins you forgive, they are forgiven; and whose sins you retain, they are retained”.

Continuing,

The Father gave me this power and I gave it to My Church. If My Church knew the power I had given her, evil would not increase in the world.

You have the power to bind and loose; to bless and to curse. And I, in My turn, will ratify all that she consents to on earth.

Remember, there are many souls who should have remained longer in Purgatory, but because My Church chose to canonize them before the time, I was forced to release them from Purgatory.

Yes, only God can forgive sin. But He has given His Church the authority to act in His Name through the Holy Spirit.

This is why I require that you always ask My Spirit to help you discern the state of the soul who approaches the Sacrament of Reconciliation, to know if she is in the right state to receive absolution from her sins.

A valid confession is made when the penitent is fully repentant and is determined to fight against his sins. If this condition is not met, the confession is invalid because the person is attached to sin, and this is a deliberate sin against the Holy Spirit.

Ask My Spirit to give you insight into the soul's condition in order to help her in the sacrament of confession”.

That was the end of Jesus' message.
