Don't Be A Wicked And Lazy Servant

So family, during my Lord’s Supper I received this reading about the Parable of the Talents, Matthew 25. What stuck out to me as a rhema was verses 24-30.

He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed, 25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here, you have what is yours.’ 26 But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I scattered no seed? 27 Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming, I should have received what was my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. 29 For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

I felt it hit me right between the eyes. I tried to make justifications and excuses thinking, “Lord look at my condition, I can't get a break”, but I knew I had been distracted lately and a bit lazy. As I tried to reason with my thoughts Jesus began speaking to me.

Jesus began,

“My beloved, you are giving yourself to too many distractions. I need you focused and disciplined. You and all My brides as this has seeped into the group as well.”

And true, in worship, He played a song called Discipline, by John Michael Talbot, to seek discipline and wisdom.

I do not want all of you to be among the wicked and lazy servants who were given much talent, and graces and yet buried them. My beloved brides, I need you to be intentional and disciplined. Ask Me for the grace of wisdom and discipline.”

Lord, please give me an abundance of discipline and wisdom.

“That you already have. I need you to cooperate, My beloved little one. I need your cooperation, My beloved brides. Rather, many of you use these graces to make one excuse after the other or spend it on other things. You spend time watching teachings. It seems holy and pious, but there are some instructions I have put on your heart to do, and you still haven’t done them.

“Or you can spend your time in much prayer and avoid what I have asked of you, to write and record a message, to start your channels, to write your blogs or paint or do music. My beloved brides, each of you knows what I have inspired and put on your heart to do, and you think rather doing religious things is a way to please Me and escape from the task and the directive I have given you.

“I know better, and you know better. I know the movements of your heart as you continue to put Me off because you’re too tired, don’t feel like it, or simply don’t want to. The one I hear often is, I have no inspiration, no desire. Does that matter to Me My beloved ones? Should that stop you? I want you to do things out of love for Me, out of obedience not out of a feeling. But I do promise you if you step out and cooperate with the graces I gave you, soon enough you will begin to feel the anointing. You will begin to feel the inspiration, joy, and contentment in what I have asked you to do.

“It’s the enemy of your soul that brings all manner of things up in the form of “seemingly holy or pious distractions“ that still take you away from obedience. From what I have asked. Please do not continue in this way any longer My beloved brides. This is a gentle, yet loving correction and a warning to you all. I do not want to treat you like the wicked servants when you stand before Me. Although doing so much, doing everything else than what I told you to do.

“Please, My beloved brides I plead with you, I have given each of you graces and gifts that are unique to only you and more so unique only to the souls you are meant to touch. No one can reach those souls but you and the more you procrastinate, and make excuses the easier these souls are lost one by one, which you will be held accountable for.

“Because, before the foundation of the earth, the Father gave each person a number amount of souls. Just as He gave Me souls, the disciples. I ensured I didn’t lose one because that is how dedicated I was to the Father's will and that is how dedicated I want My brides to My Father's will.”

John 18:9

He did this to fulfill his own statement: “I did not lose a single one of those you have given me.”

“Will you stand before Me and say, Lord, I did not lose even one of those you have entrusted to Me because I, by my part, did the best to do Your will as I saw it or will you be like those lazy servants, giving all manner excuses as to why you couldn’t do what I asked.

“Even though you are carrying the cross of sickness or health issues, please do not use that as a means to deny Me of what I have put in you. You know who you are. There are some bedridden, and that is their work such as Father Ezekiel, but even then, from time to time I have him create with Me, but for the most part that is His work in this season of his life.

“There are many others who can still use their faculties although riddled with different difficulties. My beloved brides, that is not an excuse. Mother Clare is a perfect example of that. It is I who demand these things of you. She is past her age, going on 80, her body racked with pain 90% percent of the time with fibro, now with palsy, painful and bad knees, and difficulty in breathing and concentration. But she works with My grace and look how far I have brought her. And she is still going.

So please, My beloved brides, that is what grace does. My grace is My unmerited favor and strength given to a soul. So when I give you grace, I am giving you Myself. Through Me and My strength, there is absolutely nothing that you cannot do.

So please, My beloved brides, I need you to respond, not just in prayer but in action and obedience. The time is drawing very near, and I am coming with rewards. But I am seeing too many of My brides slip into laziness and distraction, lack of faithfulness and consistency. My grace is sufficient for you, My beloved ones, it truly is. Now please respond, work with Me and for Me. And if you are faithful with the little, you will be given much.”

Lord, can you help me with a plan? I’m struggling the fatigue and everything.

“I know, Beloved, but again, I give you grace each morning. I know you are being told to rest but I am asking you to work in this time. There will be a time very soon when you will rest and that is all that you will be doing and can do. This is the time to work, be focused and diligently faithful and we will accomplish a lot in this short time and until your little gift comes.”

That was the end of Jesus' loving corrective message.

Lord help us.

It takes you through getting rhemas, and understanding what Jesus says to you in worship. It’s a place where you can pour out your heart to God and also listen for Jesus’ voice and write down what He is saying. It's a wonderful book to help you cultivate hearing God's voice daily and you also get personal rhemas at the bottom of each page. Again none of these books are for royalty sales.
