Captured Prayer Life

Hello family. This morning, I woke up to a dream I had of casting out demonic spirits from a house. Then I woke up in my room to the right side of my bed being pressed down and I knew something was crawling up to me. It was clear, I couldn’t see its detail, but I could make out the figure looked human-like form, but I knew it was a demon. It was whispering various things at it slowly came to me face to face.
So close, as we were nose to nose. I began to pray in tongues and call out the name of Jesus although I was paralysed to move. There were only two things I was able to make out distinctly what they were saying but they just stared at me, amused, as I tried to pray then I was released, and it was gone. I was so angry when I was freed, just the disrespect of it all, and the amusement of this thing just staring at me as if my prayers meant nothing.
Immediately I went to pull rhemas to find out what was going on and the reason for the attack, if the Lord would reveal it. However, Jesus referred to Himself in the rhemas. One was my having a retreat with him, my beloved spouse, and having a conversation. The second rhema said
“Console me”.
Hmm, I thought…
So, I stayed in bed and adored Jesus in the Eucharist and sure enough, He played the Divine Mercy Chaplet song as I fixed my mind on being with Jesus and praying instead.
Then he also played the City of God song, which surprised me. The lyrics said,
“Awake from our sleep and come out of your slumber. It’s time to build the City of God.”
I laughed knowing Jesus was telling me to get up. So, I did, to sit with him instead, and spend more time consoling and just being with Him in His presence.
I began to contemplate a few things, and I felt Jesus wanted to speak to me, so I came before Him.
Jesus, Your praying the City of God song alarmed me, wondering what more can I do in my condition and being so far away from home. Also, the attack this morning and your needing to be consoled. Lord, I still feel like I am under a veil [I’m] not really clear on many things. Help me to completely surrender to Your will.
Jesus began,
“My beloved, you are surrendered but I am asking for more. Do not be concerned with the attack this morning. That is to incite fear in you. What were you doing in the dream?”
Casting out devils, and demonic spirits from the house. Or someone's house.
“Well, do that and be faithful to your 3 am prayers. No longer slack. Although your prayer partner may slack, you cannot. When I permit attacks such as these it’s to get your attention to pray and to continue praying. No weapon formed against you will prosper. No intimidation by the devils will dampen the intensity of your prayers. Do not allow it. So much is banking on your prayers, My beloved one. So much.
“Also, do not neglect or rush your time with Me when you would rather spend time with family. There will be many more opportunities where the devils will try to make you feel guilty or rather choose their companionship over Mine for an event or gathering.”
As an aside, guys, my niece had a stepping competition that I really wanted to go to. I went to the Lord about it and got no. The day before I pulled the rhema that said
“Nothing weakens a man's virtue than the frequent companionship of men”
I kind of scorned it a bit because I was having such a good time of fellowship with my sisters as I thought, okay Lord.
Then this morning I felt strongly that rather than going to church with my family, I [should] stay home and be with the Lord.
“I would prefer that you stay at My feet always. You are here for a mission, Beloved, whether you realize it or not. Try your best to detach. Love, sow in tears, in prayers, and service, but you are here for a mission, and it all begins and starts with prayer, especially for them because, I am doing something. The dam that has hindered your family for so long is about to break. So, trust Me and step out with obedience to the inspirations I give you.
“Now concerning the City of God. It is time to be steadfast in the cultivation of the land. You have prayed, My two servants I have brought, have prayed ─and suffered much. The land is ready to be cultivated. I know funds have seemed low but greater provision is coming. Tell your beloved to start and be a very good steward even of the little he has. He is running to and fro trying to make ends meet. But his blessing, his biggest blessing will come from that land─ if he is able to focus and be consistent and patient like a farmer. Pray for that. He needs much patience in order to be steady and see the land bear fruit. It will yield a wonderful harvest. Not only for his personal intentions but most importantly the land is for the people, for you. Be generous with what is given and always willing to share. Through this, many lessons will be learned not only for him but for them as well.”
Thank you, Lord, for your instructions. Please help him in this. Please grow that seed in his heart and desire for the land and the vision, Lord, because I am a bit weary.
“Don’t be, Beloved, I am even moving now.”
Do you have a word for your flock Lord?
“Yes, My beloved brides, be intentional concerning your time with Me. Be faithful and do not allow distractions to take you from My presence. It would be good little one to share the movie you watched. It is very anointed and very accurate in what Satan and his demons do.”
As an aside, I was sent a link by one of the intercessors about this movie called Awake O Christan. I didn’t think anything of it but wow what a powerful depiction of the spiritual realm and how it affects our prayer life when we give into distractions. It also clearly shows you how demons work and how they launch assignments against Christians and how important it is for us to follow the instructions of the Holy Spirit. I encourage everyone to watch this movie. It’s free on YouTube and have told my intercessors to watch it as well.
Jesus continued,
They are continuously coming up with different schemes to derail, distract, or snuff out the fire of My bride’s prayer life. Prayer life should not be burdensome, but Satan tries to make it be. Either stacking upon you religion upon religion where My spirit is not there but works are there or bringing upon you pleasures, entertainment, and even friendships from the past that rather grab your attention so your time with Me started at one hour daily now decreases to 30 minutes then to short 10-minute prayer and you go on about your day.
My beloved, it's not so much about the length of time you spend with me but your intention. Now, the length of time is important especially according to your consecration and call. [For] some it is most necessary to spend a few hours in My presence because the attacks and assignments against them daily are intense. Every time you spend time in My presence your spirit is strengthened, your soul is healed, and you are suited up for the day. The arrows of the enemy cannot penetrate as much or even deeply because you have now been cloaked with Me.
When you limit or shorten your time is like not being fully dressed and you are going into an all-out battle and war zone unprepared. Many times, in My mercy, I cover you but be mindful that you will never go without some type of wounds or bruises. You do not see it in the spirit, but it is there and leaves you further and further open and uncovered for the enemy to have his way. Satan and his demons are very patient and if they cannot sift you now, they wait until the opportune time.
"When the devil had finished all this tempting, he left him until an opportune time Luke 4:1.
“My brides must be smarter than the devils and recognize your time on earth is a battlefield. Prayer is your weapon, your time with Me is your covering and protection. Especially trysting time. I cannot emphasize, My beloved ones, how important that is.
“I am not a religious routine, I am a person, who has needs, desires, and wants, and guess what they are? These wants, desires, and needs are you, My beloved brides. I am God, but fully man, and I have betrothed you before the foundation of the earth to call you My own. What man doesn’t desire the companionship, the love, and the embrace of his wife after a long stressful day? Well, I do, I need that just as much as you do. There is so much darkness in the world and your love, your time of prayer, your sacrifice your desire to be with Me give me great consolation and console the ache in My heart. Just come, be with Me ─ just to be with Me. I will do the rest, as I pray for you, cover you, anoint you, and equip you for the daily task and battle ahead. If your prayer life has been under attack, bind demons of distraction, weariness, procrastination, and weakness. Bind the strong men and cast them out now. Then enter into the garden of your heart daily and come and dwell with me ask me to rekindle the fire of your prayer life to stand and war against the onslaught of the enemy”
That was the end of Jesus' message.
