The Land
The City Of God: Sacred Heart Community Land is located in a town called Mankasim, Ghana going towards the Cape Coast road. We have been blessed to be given 10 acres of 100 acres of this beautiful fertile land full of forestry and wonderful soil for things to grow.
We have completed Phase 1 of the building project for the City of God by generous donations which allowed us to purchase the land, and have it surveyed and demarcated. We've been also able to purchase a truck that will allow us to handle the rough roads and load equipment. Providing transportation for us from the city to the town. We also made some purchases for drip irrigation, seeds, and buckets to begin backyard farming until the land is cleared and we can begin to farm on it beginning of the year 2024. Which will initiate 2nd phase of the building project for the City of God Community.

We cleared 9.5 acres of 10 acres
We dug a 15 feet dam for water supply

We have to build 3 mission houses
We have broken down each project into phases to make it easier to receive donations and to see a project completed once received. We are now raising funds for phase 2 of the City of God building project! The land is now purchased we need to clear the land, make a road, drill a bore well, and begin to farm 2 acres of the land as Jesus has directed us to. Then we will begin building infrastructure.
The Lord has asked that we use the funds first to purchase land which we completed in phase 1. Then after clearing the land build three mission houses first. One for male presbyters, one for female presbyters, and one for presbyters who are married couples. We will call the houses St. Joseph’s House of Prayer, St. Therese House of Prayer, and The Holy Family House of Prayer to accommodate our missionaries. Then we will move forward to build the children's home, Doris's house.
We have a ministry house in town!
This house will be used as a transitional housing point for visitors and volunteers who come to visit. This will be the first communal house until all mission houses are built on the land. We have a missionary couple, Father Robby and Mother Caroline from Kenya coming to stay with us and we need to furnish the house. Help us by donating so we can purchase the items we need to make this a simple loving home for all.
Farming Initiative
The Lord has asked us to begin farming on the land before we do anything else. We are excited to learn more, do more, plant more, and give back to the community. We will farm 2-5 acres of the land with vegetables. The purpose of this farm serves a dual purpose, to help the community be self-sustaining and to give back to the neighboring community. This will provide jobs for many locals, a source of purpose, and an opportunity to feed many poor families providing the vegetables for Free!
Do You Have Experience In Building Construction?
We would love you to join us in volunteering your time and services to help us build the City Of God Sacred Heart Refuge Community. We have a few locals who are excellent masons man and we could use some helping hands to construct all the building in the community. The requirements would be the same as a volunteer unless you desire to stay with us for more than 6 months you can apply to be a missionary instead and help us build. If you are unsure of the length of time come and see, we would love to still have you!

We discourage jewelry, loose-fitting clothing, and items that could contribute to an accident.

Wear sturdy close-toed shoes.

We stress dressing for the weather, such as sunscreen and a hat in summer.

We try to be specific about what you can do or we will put you anywhere its needed!

This community will live solely off God’s providence through donations. Freely we have received so freely we will give all that we have and pour it out on the precious souls of Ghana. However, we cannot do this mission and fulfill this call on our own. We need you to come along side us as co-labors to sow into this community as you touch the lives of these many precious little ones who have been neglected, rejected, and outcast by the world.
Become a sowing partner. You are needed and not one seed you sow into this community will fall on the ground wasted, but will reap a harvest of thirty, sixty and even a hundred fold not only in this life, but the next. Will you help us build the City of God?
